In addition to Microsoft work, I led production on a nationally syndicated online media player for CBS College Sports, and custom Business Intelligence applications.
In this position, I upgraded our Brand Identity and Marketing materials to support the company's growth goals. I designed an engaging interactive Trade Show Exhibit to make our products palatable to traditionally low-tech Real Estate brokerages. And with our client base, I improved satisfaction levels by streamlining service response and training account managers in expectation management; taking personal responsibility for our flagship account.
Joining the company just after 9/11, I led the company to its highest annual sales volume in 25-years. I redesigned our marketing collateral and expanded our local brand presence through sponsoring Nike and AMA events and authoring articles for the local business journal. I was asked to personally direct and produce key Client events for Intel and Hewlett-Packard for which our president received glowing thank you letters afterward.
The 4th Annual Webby Awards remains the most successful in their entire history. I raised a record $5 million in cash and trade sponsorships from over 30 organizations in just 10 months. In addition, I directed and implemented concurrent marketing campaigns for entrants, sponsors and promotion of our People’s Voice awards and directly managed sponsor benefit fulfillment and on site relations at the event.
After reading issue #1 of WIRED magazine, I knew ‘multimedia’ was my calling. After a year interning with Ogilvy & Mather and Media Architects, I started my own interactive production boutique with a few credit cards. Over the next five years iCom built a portfolio of increasingly high-profile clients and projects.
